If you’re heading to the National Ploughing Championships 2018 and want to know more about your consumer rights, then drop by the European Union tent (block 3, Row 12, Stand 265) to chat with the ECC Ireland team.

Taking place in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, the National Ploughing Championships is Ireland’s largest outdoor public event attracting around 225,000 visitors from around Ireland and abroad. This year’s event starts Tuesday, 18th September, and finishes on Thursday, 20th September.

ECC Ireland staff will be on hand during the first two days of the event to give information about cross-border consumer rights in areas such as air passenger rights, car rental, shopping online, accommodation, and more. So if you have a question about a cross-border consumer issue (where the trader is based in another EU/EEA country) then come talk to us.

Find out more about the European Union tent, the other organisations that will be there and the European Commission Representation in Ireland office here.

The 2017 Ploughing Championships was also a chance for ECC Ireland to have chat with a few MEPs and a Commissioner:
