The Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provides a user-friendly means for consumers to submit complaints to a trader related to an online purchase. It also offers information on other consumer redress possibilities. The platform saw 3,3 million unique visitors in 2020.
Over 2020 177 Irish consumers submitted complaints and 591 traders had complaints submitted against them. Generally, 50% of the complaints on the ODR platform are in connection to cross-border transactions.
