Return products bought online

If you buy something online, you have a 14-day period to cancel your purchase and get a refund. You do not have to provide an explanation for why you want to return the product. You can use this letter template to cancel your purchase and request a refund.

Late or non-delivery

If your purchase does not arrive within 30 days you are entitled to decide a new delivery date, in which your purchase must be delivered by or, you can cancel your order and get a full refund. You can use this letter template to inform the business of the required delivery date or to cancel your order.

Refund for faulty product

If a product develops a fault within 30 days you are entitled to cancel your purchase and get a full refund. You should receive a refund within 14 days of the business receiving the product back from you. Use our letter template to help you.

Repair or replacement for faulty product

If you buy something, you are entitled to a product that works and does what you expect it to do, for example, as set out in the product description. If your purchase does not meet the expectations, the product is faulty and you are entitled to it being repaired or replaced. You can use this letter template to request a repair or a replacement from the business.

Ending a subscription

Have you been caught with a trial subscription that has automatically been renewed? Or do you simply want to cancel an existing subscription or membership? You can use this letter template to inform the business that you wish to cancel your subscription or membership.
